Make a cookware shelf easier to use
Take stock of the pans you actually use in an ordinary week. Put those where they can be lifted without moving a stack of other objects. Store heavy pieces on a stable shelf at a comfortable height.
Match lids with their pans before choosing a storage arrangement. If stacking is necessary, use a suitable separator and avoid a pile that is difficult to lift safely. Leave frequently used utensils nearby.
Try the arrangement for a week before adding organizers. Note the one awkward movement you repeat most often and change that first. The best arrangement is the one that fits your cooking habits and available space.
